Empowering Tempe

The Tempe Diablos, via Tempe Diablos Charities, proudly funds non-profit organizations in Tempe, Arizona, to fuel vibrant community projects in arts, youth, and family support. With over $600,000 granted to 70 initiatives in 2025, we invite passionate non-profits to apply and join our mission of uplifting Tempe.

Tempe Diablos Charities Grant Application Instructions

  1. Please answer all questions and confine your typewritten information to the word/page count listed. Noncompliance as to word/page count limitation could cause an application to be rejected.
  2. Complete each section according to the instructions for the information being requested.
  3. Prior year grant recipients are required to complete the appropriate section.
  4. Submit completed application along with required supporting documentation. Once the form is complete, you will be emailed a copy of your responses.

Required Materials

  1. Completed application.
  2. A complete list of corporations and foundations that have given to the organization in the most immediate previous year and how much each has given ($5,000.00 and above).
  3. Annual operating budget.
  4. A list of the Board of Directors of the organization, including the primary business or professional affiliation of each.

NOTE: Failure to complete all sections and attach required documents could cause an application to be rejected.

Funding Details

Tempe Diablos Charities has one funding cycle per fiscal year. For a grant to be considered, the completed application, along with required attachments, must be received by the Diablos online by the deadline dates stated below.

  • The grant cycle submission deadline is Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
  • Submissions will be accepted beginning October 1, 2025.
  • Completed Grant Applications will be reviewed in February 2026.
  • Decisions will be made by June 30, 2026.
  • Grant Applicants will be notified by July 31, 2026.
  • Funds will be available after August 1, 2026.
  • At our discretion, you may be contacted to schedule an in-person interview in March or April of 2026 to clarify your request or seek additional information.

Additional Info

The Tempe Diablos Charities fiscal year runs June 1st through May 31st.

Organizations may apply only once per fiscal year.
