About This Event
“The Classic” is one of Tempe’s most anticipated fall golf tournaments, known for its fun atmosphere, challenging golf, and focus on raising important dollars for the community. Hosted, managed, and operated by the Tempe Diablos, this event has a history almost 30 years in the making. For the past seven years, Cold Beer and Cheeseburgers has served as the title sponsor.
The home course is the beautiful Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass, nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Sierra Estrella Mountains. Thanks to Diablo’s hospitality and an award-winning course, “The Classic” has become one of the players’ favorite charity golf outings and with it, one of the Diablos’ most important fundraising efforts. Spectacular views, incredible golf, and a charitable cause that serves to support youth, scholarships, veterans, homelessness, and families in crisis – the Diablos look forward to having you join the fun!
